Many times, a leader needs help figuring out the pieces of a project, deciding sequences and playing with possibilities. Processes we develop together on the digital canvas can be copied and pasted to allow for exploration and evaluation of multiple options simultaneously. Sketches can be shared with teams in raw form, or prettied-up for more formal communications efforts.

 

My sketches are also an effective way to communicate with a company's graphics staff, saving everybody endless hours of frustration, confusion and misinterpretations. I interface with leader to help them sort, hone and prioritize. Then a crystal clear message is delivered to the art department, rather than requiring them to guess what is intended and be stuck in a bottleneck in their attempt to access an unavailable executive. (I am, in essence, the translator between two people who speak different languages...)
