My client gave me permission to share the ideas and flow generated during a coaching session dedicated to exploring 'work as a spiritual practice'. Seeing the conversation unfold visually reinforced the metaphor, and resulted in documentation that supported an internal shift in the weeks following the coaching session.

It's important to note that the visualization technique is not about the resulting image being visually attractive or "artistic". It is more about the experiential process (where the visuals help capture meaning and track insights) than what the end product looks like. The documentation aspect also plays a strong role in helping a client retain key ideas and continue the exploration while not in a coaching session with me. (So many breakthroughs occur while people are out hiking, doing the dishes or in the shower *after* our 1:1 work!)
